Woman horrified when friend saw videos of her having sex uploaded to Pornhub

Luke Brinson denied wrongdoing but was convicted of posting three intimate videos after a tria.

A woman was left distressed when a friend she had not seen for 20 years contacted her and said she had seen videos of her having sex online.

It transpired Luke Brinson had uploaded intimate videos of the woman to a porn site, which attracted 3,000 views.

And it was not the first time he had caused similar distress, after distributing naked photos of another woman on the shelves of her local supermarket.

Brinson, 32, of Barrow Hill Crescent in Shirehampton, was found guilty by a district judge of disclosing sexual photographs with intent to cause distress. Judge Euan Ambrose jailed him for 21 months.

He told Brinson: “You posted those three videos, which were freely available to members of the public to view.

“They were viewed and they remained online for five months.

“Unsurprisingly the victim has been left feeling extremely distressed and utterly humiliated, which was no doubt your intention.”

Brinson shook and hunched over, with his fingers entwined over his head, as prosecutor Sam Jones opened the facts.

Mr Jones told Bristol Crown Court Brinson posted an hour-long video, a ten-minute video and a four-minute video.

The first video was viewed 1,800 times, while the other two were watched 300 and 900 times.

Mr Jones said: “The victim was contacted by someone from her childhood.

“They informed her she was aware of images of her and sent her a link.

“She was very distressed. She contacted the website and days later the images were taken down.

“Mr Brinson was arrested and interviewed and denied the offence.”

He was convicted after a trial at Bristol Magistrates’ Court.

It transpired he had a conviction for a similar offence in which he deposited naked photos of another woman around a shop.

Simon Macfarlane, defending, said: “He is not a lost cause. He can and will engage with intervention of made available to him.

“There is an offer of a job from this weekend if a non-custodial sentence is imposed.”

PORN that appeared on an electronic touch screen at Perth’s new Yagan Square was manually loaded by a member of the public following a “software malfunction”.

Pedestrians saw the Pornhub home page as they walked past the information screen at a mall entrance on Thursday evening.

While some found it funny and posted photographs on social media, others were horrified by the images.

Somehow, someone has hacked the public electronic billboards at Perth’s Yagan Square to display Pornhub (one of Australia’s most popular websites!) @VitalPerth?? @abcperth

A Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority spokeswoman said on Friday the porn was displayed on one screen for seven minutes and the other was switched off before it could be compromised.

“Early investigations indicate a software malfunction has allowed an internet browser to be accessed via the touchscreens,” she said.

“It appears the content was manually loaded by a member of the public.” Both screens will remain off until the investigation is complete and the MRA is assured it will not happen again.

“The contractors involved have been instructed to undertake a full investigation and provide a comprehensive report on the incident and ICT set-up of the screens,” the spokeswoman said.

Police will become involved if it is determined a crime has been committed.
